RECOMMENDED ACCOMMODATIONS
Our 2008 conference proceedings will take place in The Armstrong
Center, which is not a hotel but a conference facility (it
is new and lovely and will be perfect for our gathering). To help
attendees get to the conference site, shuttle transportation will be
provided from select hotels (shuttles will run to-and-fro continuously
during the conference session hours). Those hotels, and the
corresponding information for each, are listed below.

Refunds may not be available if charges or cancellations occur after

Related important notes: To take full advantage of the advertised rates, don't
forget to bring your government ID and any tax-exempt forms authorized
and recognized by your organization. If you are also filling out a check request for reimbursement of hotel costs from your organization, you may need AASU's federal ID#: 586000063. Finally, for those of you who
plan to drive to Savannah and will not need or want to use the
shuttles, keep in mind that parking at The Armstrong Center is plentiful and free!
Conferees might also choose to book rooms at any of a number of recently constructed hotels located at Gateway Savannah. These places include Fairfield Inn and Suites, Ramada Inn, Country Inn and Suites, Best Western, Red Roof Inn, San’s Boutique Hotel and Suites, Clarion Inn and Suites, Sleep Inn, Howard Johnson, and another Days Inn.
