REGISTRATION

Q: Whom should I contact concerning membership questions (membership expiration date, name on membership, etc.)?

A: Karen Keaton-Jackson at kkjackson@nccu.edu.

Q: After I mail the membership form and payment, how long before I receive Email confirmation?

A: Please allow 7-10 days.

Q: May I register for the conference with the member rate before I receive confirmation that my membership form and check have been received?

A: Yes.

Q: Whom should I contact if I have conference registration questions (difficulty with the online system, receipts, etc.)?

Q: I will be filing paperwork with my host organization for reimbursement of various conference costs, and I need AASU's federal ID# to complete that paperwork. What is it?

A: AASU's federal id# is 586000063.

Q: I am an exhibitor. Whom should I contact if I have any questions?

Q: Why is the registration date so early?

A: To allow attendees to use funds from either their 2006-2007 or 2007-2008 budgets.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Q: Is there a hotel within walking distance of The Armstrong Center?

A: Yes, the Days Inn is less than a ten minute walk away. Check the accommodations page for information.

Q: What public transportation is available?

A: The conference will provide free shuttle transportation from five (5) recommended hotels to The Armstrong Center. Conferees may also choose the for-fee services of local taxis and city buses. Check the conference website again as the conference date approaches for the latest bus schedules and taxi company information.

Q: Will there be vegetarian and/or kosher options for meals at the conference?

A: Yes. Mark the appropriate boxes on the Registration Form.

Q: Is The Armstrong Center fully handicapped-accessible?

A: Yes.

Q: What is the weather typically like in Savannah in February?

A: Our February weather can range from 30 degrees Fahrenheit with wind and rain to 70 degrees and balmy. Happily for us, somewhere in between, about 65 degrees with blue skies, is the most likely scenario! You can see today's weather conditions below:
