Your conference registration pays for several meals, but for those times when you want to pick up a quick meal on your own, let us offer the following suggestions:
The TownePlace Suites, SpringHill Suites Midtown, and Days Inn Southside are located immediately adjacent to two well-known chain restaurants, Logan’s Roadhouse and Olive Garden. Other eateries within walking distance include Outback, Applebee’s, Tangerine, and Pizza Hut, as well as numerous fast food outlets, such as Chick-fil-A and Arby’s. Fast food spots within a short drive include Checker’s, Wendy’s, Burger King, Krispy Kreme, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Taco Bell, and McDonald's.
Our favorite? We highly recommend the independently owned and managed Tangerine, which features quality EuroAsian fusion fare and a sushi bar at prices comparable to those of the local chains.
Restaurants immediately adjacent to the SpringHill Suites Gateway and Hampton Inn and Suites Gateway include Houlihan’s, Cracker Barrel, Applebee’s, Ruby Tuesday, Shoney’s, and Denny’s. In addition, some guests might want to grab a quick bite at the fast food places Hardee’s and Sonic.
Our opinion? We like Houlihan's best of the franchise eateries in the Gateway area.
