Tomochichi

Bones of our old friends

Lay scattered far and wide,

But sitting by your grave today

A feeling deep inside

My soul

Knows they gather here with us

In the Great Spirit.

Your chants encircle me and as

The ceremony of life's days and nights

Goes round and round

and round and round

The fires of the Heart

I see.

By your burial ground today

I know what comes

With many moons

Of pain and glory.

Within I find Eternal Unity

And dance.
