"Rugrat #2"

SARAH

Sarah 1999
Sarah will turn three years old December 18th. Although she is very small and petite, she has a huge heart. Sarah is one of the most loving children I have ever known. She loves giving and getting hugs and kisses. Her ways are so tender and sweet that all you want to do is hold and love on her!
We did not expect to have another child so soon after Christopher; however, we have become used to these "surprises." Sarah was definitely a surprise--especially for me. I think I'd just become normal again after Christopher's birth. But she came, and just like the other two, I fell in love with her immediately. She was so quiet and gentle, even as a newborn. I've never had any problems with her. She has never been very sick or fussy--except when she was cutting teeth. But I swear, we didn't know she could scream or cry until then!

Well, with her upcoming 3rd birthday, I am overwhelmed at how this little girl has affected my life. Sarah reminds me alot of Jessica, my oldest, and also one of my nieces. Her lovable, sweet nature amazes me. She has her dad and me wrapped around her fingers. Sarah is still very petite and also very quiet. She's not very fond of large crowds of people or lots of noise.

Sarah and Christopher are very close. It is obvious that they love each other. If Sarah asks for something, she will always get the same thing for her brother. Although they fuss over toys and TV shows, they are becoming best friends. Sarah adores her big sister and wants to be just like her. She already wants to wear Jessica's lip gloss and nail polish and hang out in her room. I am betting that one day the two will be inseparable. Nicholas is Sarah's baby. Enough said...

It is too early to tell where Sarah's interests will lie. Right now, she loves playing outside, watching Winnie the Pooh, Barney and Blues Clues. She loves music, singing and dancing. Sarah is fascinated with babies, and she constantly wants to touch my stomach (I am pregnant) and talk to the new baby. I guess one of her most endearing ways is when she wakes up every morning. She likes to lie in the bed with me, or on the couch, and hug, kiss and rub my face. Every morning she asks about her Daddy, her Bubba, her Sissy and her Nicholas. She wants to know if they are awake. If they aren't, she'll tell me to be quiet. Like the other two children, she is a special blessing from God. I thank Him constantly for my little surprise!
