My Biography
Hello. My name is Annitra Riley N. Roberts. I was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia by Miss Vernita Patricia Riley. Although being raised by a single parent is seen as a disadvantage to many people, it was a life altering experience for me. I am very independent, self assured, and motivated. My mother is a remarkable role model. It is because of her hard work and dedication that I am where I am today.
I will be graduating May, 2002, with a Bachelors Degree in General Studies and a Minor in History. My goal is to work with at-risk children in Savannah's housing projects. I grew up in some of the worst housing projects, and I want to show children that they do not have to fall into the negative stereotype of "project people."
