Several LLP minors are available:
Students majoring in other disciplines can pursue minor studies in English, communication, film, foreign languages, linguistics, philosophy, and writing.
An English minor (15-18 hours) requires the completion of at least nine hours of English electives numbered 3000 or above, with a maximum of three hours of ENGL 5990U.

A communication minor (15-18 hours) requires the completion of two or three courses from ENGL 3720, 4700, 4740, 4750, FILM 5025U, or JOUR 3430. The communication minor further requires the completion of two or three courses from ENGL 5730U, 5800U, 5820U, FILM 5010U, or JOUR 4000.

A film minor (15 hours) requires the completion of film courses numbered 3000 or above.

A foreign languages minor (15-18 hours) in French, German, Latin, or Spanish requires the completion of at least nine hours of foreign language electives numbered 3000 or above.

A linguistics minor (15 hours) requires the completion of ENGL 3010 and at least twelve hourse of linguistics electives.

A philosophy minor (15 hours) requires the completion of at least nine hours of philosophy electives numbered 3000 or above.

A writing minor (15 hours) requires the completion of courses from ENGL 3020, 3720, 4700, 4740, 4750, 5740U, 5750U, 5760U, JOUR 3270, or 3430.
