This event was our biggest of the year. The French Club invited Consul General of France, the Honorable Philippe Ardanaz, as well as US Congressman, the Honorable Jack Kingston to give lectures on the relations between France and the United States since the elections of French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Over 200 people came to this event which took place in the Armstrong Center Ballroom.

We would like to thank President Thomas Jones, Dr. Bill Megathlin, Becky Smith, Dr, David Wheeler and the Department of Languages, Literature and Philosophy, Dr. James Anderson and Ms. Laurel Logue and the Office of International Education, as well as University Relations and Francisco Duque and the Armstrong Center and Bob DiBella for their help in planning this event.
